Farnham Town complete signing of Keane Anderson from Aldershot Town

Farnham Town are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of midfielder Keane Anderson from National League side Aldershot Town, who joins on on a one-year contract until May 2027.

The 22-year-old Surrey-born midfielder came through the youth ranks at Aldershot and enjoyed successful loan spells with Leatherhead, Kingstonian, AFC Totton, Sholing and Havant & Waterlooville early in his career before breaking through into the Shots’ first-team, making his National League debut in a 2-1 win at Altrincham in March 2025.

Keane would go on to appear in nine of Aldershot’s final 12 games of the 2024/25 National League season, including seven starts.

At the start of the 2025/26 campaign, Keane would make three appearances in August before joining National League South side Torquay United on a short-term loan. He returned to Aldershot in October and made a further 18 appearances for the Shots before departing this summer as their longest-serving active player in the squad.

Still only 22, Keane is a player who can continue to grow if afforded a platform to succeed, and we look forward to seeing him do so at Farnham Town.

“I’ve been really keen to bring Keane to the Club for a long time – pun intended,” manager Paul Johnson said.

“He’s a very talented midfielder who earned his stripes whilst out on loan before becoming a big part of Aldershot’s first-team setup.

“Last season he was afforded the opportunity to wear the armband for his boyhood club which tells you all you need to know about what they thought of him and his leadership qualities, which are going to be a great addition here.

“Keane’s from the area and our fans love getting behind local talent. I look forward to working with Keane this season.”

Chairman Harry Hugo adds: “Keane is someone the Club has been monitoring for over a year and have tried to bring in before, but Aldershot turned us down during the season.

“He’s a local boy, which we like a lot. He’s made over 30 appearances in the National League over the last 12 months or so, so he brings some great experience for someone of his age.

“Keane has a great engine, he’s technically strong on the ball, presses well and will keep things moving in the midfield. We believe there’s a lot of untapped potential with Keane and we hope to give him the opportunity to realise that here at Farnham Town.”
