Farnham Town are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of striker Rakish Bingham from National League South side Farnborough, who joins on a one-year contract until May 2027.
The 32-year-old striker arrives with vast experience at National League South level and above, having come through the ranks at Wigan Athletic before an extensive career in the pro game both in England and Scotland with spells at Falkirk, Mansfield Town, Hartlepool United, Hamilton Academical, Cheltenham Town, Doncaster Rovers and Dundee United between 2013 and 2020.
Rakish made the move into non-league with Ebbsfleet United, joining the Fleet in October 2020 where he would enjoy an excellent five-year stay at the Stonebridge Road Stadium.
With Ebbsfleet United initially in the National League South, Rakish would score 37 goals in 88 league appearances over the next three seasons, including 16 in 40 during the 2022/23 campaign which helped fire them to the league title and promotion to the National League.
Scoring nine goals in 44 league games across the next two National League campaigns would see Rakish finish with a record of 52 goals in 146 games for Ebbsfleet United before leaving in the summer of 2025 following their relegation back to the National League South, to join new league rivals Farnborough.

Last season, Rakish again found great goalscoring form back in the National League South, netting 15 times in 42 appearances (30 starts), finishing in the top 10 goal scorers in the division for the 25/26 campaign, just like he did in 22/23, his last full campaign at the level prior.
Chairman Harry Hugo adds: “I’m really excited about the prospect of adding Rakish to our group of attackers heading into the season.
“Adding experience of the level to the squad has been a priority this summer when you look at our recruitment so far, and Rakish aligns with that as well.
“He’s got a terrific record in this league in particular. Helped fire Ebbsfleet to promotion a few years ago and then scored 15 league goals last season in a struggling Farnborough side, who were desperate to keep him.
“Trae, Miles, Sam, Owen – we have a great group of strikers, but we wanted to add a more experienced head to that group and Rakish will be that for us, hopefully he’ll be able to help them through the season and share some of his experience.
“From speaking to Rakish, I can tell he’s very excited about the prospect of coming to play for us and helping our cause this season. I look forward to meeting him in pre-season and working together this season.”
Linking up with former Farnborough teammates Aaron Kuhl and Billy Clifford at the Memorial Ground this season, we’re looking forward to welcoming Rakish to the Farnham Town family!
