Squad Update | August 27th 2026

We’re pleased to provide the following update on a number of our First Team players and their availability moving forward, in collaboration with our Health & Wellbeing partners, Nuffield Health.

Following his unfortunate knee injury suffered in the friendly against Badshot Lea back on July 11th, Keane Anderson underwent successful reconstructive surgery on August 12th and has entered the early stages of his recovery process. Keane will continue to work alongside our Head of Medical, Gary Lewis, and Head of Performance, David Givens, with his recovery and rehabilitation.

Immediately after the Play-Off Final success in May, Mat Mackenzie underwent shoulder surgery to repair an issue that been lingering since before he joined the Club. His recovery has limited his competitive involvement throughout pre-season and into the 2026/27 campaign, but Mat has trained with the squad throughout the summer.

Earlier this month, Mat was medically cleared to resume contact activity after completing late-stage return-to-play testing, and has been named in recent matchday squads. Now fit and ready to return, Mat will now be reintroduced to on-field action in the near future, with a season debut in frame this Bank Holiday weekend.

Summer signing Aaron Kuhl is yet to make his Farnham Town debut since his arrival from Farnborough. Last week marked one calendar year since Aaron suffered his broken leg against Worthing which ruled him out for the entirety of the 2025/26 season.

Aaron’s been present throughout pre-season with the group, mostly doing individual work alongside the conditioning drills. Last week, Aaron underwent a small, keyhole procedure on his surgically repaired leg and is recovering from that. Aaron is expected to return to training in early September and firmly step-up his efforts to make a full-time return to action later in the Autumn.

Defender Dan Bayliss sustained an achilles injury during the first-half of our pre-season friendly against Yeovil Town on July 28th and remains on the sidelines. He’s progressing well as he enters the middle stages of his rehabilitation, with a view to being back available for selection in September.

During the second half of the win at Slough Town last week, left-back Brandon Mason registered some tightness in his quad that also flared up during pre-match warm-ups ahead of the game against Billericay Town last weekend, and was withdrawn from the starting line-up as a precaution. He’s undergoing rehabilitation on the issue but it is not considered serious, and Brandon is expected to be back in the squad over Bank Holiday weekend.

Lastly, while on loan with Bracknell Town, Kai Tanner reported a foot injury during his debut for the Robins but continued to play the full 90 minutes as they saw off Gloucester City 3-2. The injury has kept Kai out of Bracknell’s subsequent fixtures, and he has been working with our medical team on his rehabilitation.

The Town are back in action at The Memorial Ground on August Bank Holiday Monday as we welcome Torquay United, tickets are now on sale.
