We can provide the following update on a number of our First Team players and their availability moving forward, in collaboration with our Health & Wellbeing partners, Nuffield Health.
Firstly, to update on our longer term absentees. Keane Anderson is recovering well after undergoing reconstructive surgery to his right knee five weeks ago. He’s working closely with our medical team on the next stages of his recovery.
Aaron Kuhl is recovering well after his minor keyhole operation on his surgically repaired leg and again is working closely with our medical team on the next stages of his recovery, with a view to making his debut later in the season. However, it is too early to put a precise timeline in place for when we expect that to be.
Dan Bayliss is yet to make his first appearance of the season following his achilles injury in pre-season, but is edging closer to a return. He’s progressing well through his rehabilitation and we’re hopeful that he can be available for selection again before the end of September.
Kai Tanner suffered a left foot injury during his debut on loan for Bracknell Town last month and hasn’t featured since. Scans have since shown there’s no significant structural damage, however, they did highlight a anterior talar bone spur which is causing the pain. Kai’s working with our medical team to go through his options on how to tackle the problem.

Since our last update on August 26th, the team has sustained several fresh injuries as well which have stretched the squad to it’s limits.
During the 2-1 win at Horsham on August 29th, Tom Leggett was forced off in the first half of the fixture after injuring himself going in for a challenge on the newly-laid artificial surface at the Hop Oast Stadium. Scans last week have revealed that Tom has unfortunately suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), significant damage to his medial and lateral meniscus, a Grade 2 sprain of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) and a Grade 1 sprain of the fibular collateral ligament (LCL).
Everyone at Farnham Town is devastated to hear the severity of Tom’s injury which will rule him our for the entire 2026/27 season. Tom retains the full backing and support of the Club as he works to recover from this setback.

In the second half of the 2-0 win against Torquay United on August 31st, Louie Holzman landed awkwardly on his left shoulder after going up for an aerial challenge. He battled through the pain to see out the remainder of the game before being taken to hospital for tests.
X-Rays revealed that Louie has suffered a Type 3 acromio-clavicular joint (AC Joint) separation, but fortunately no fractures and it’s believed the injury will not require surgery. Louie’s health will continue to be monitored moving forward but will continue to be available for selection having been signed off by a specialist physician.
In the first half of the 1-1 draw at Hemel Hempstead on September 5th, Jack Dean was on the receiving end of a red card-worthy two-footed lunge that forced him to be carried off the pitch unable to put any pressure through his right leg.
After the game, Jack was taken to hospital for X-Rays which have revealed he’s sustained a fractured fibula which we expect will keep him out of action for the next two months, sidelining him until November.

Bobby-Joe Taylor suffered a hamstring injury in the second half the same game, but with only three outfield subs named on the bench and all of whom already on the pitch, Bobby finished the game while struggling through his injury.
While not deemed serious, the injury did keep Bobby out of being involved for our game at Folkestone Invicta this past weekend, and his availability moving forward will be considered with Emirates FA Cup action ahead this weekend.
In addition to the above, Brandon Mason has been managing an ongoing thigh complaint that has hindered his availability, with the left-back not featuring in three of our last five National League South fixtures, and continues to be a situation we monitor closely.
Last week, we bolstered the squad with the arrival of defender Aaron Williams Fernández from Wealdstone and the three-month loan signing of midfielder Josh Tobin from League One side Bromley, both of whom featured in the win against Folkestone Invicta this past weekend.
